About the Event

The 30th Annual Orange County Wine Festival and Benefit Auction will be taking place on September 24, 2005. Last year's event was a great success raising over $60,000 for the organization. This year we are hoping to surpass last year's festival with support from our generous sponsors and community members.

Once again, the Wine Festival will be held at the beautiful Kiwanisland Park. This year we will feature over 100 wines from more than 75 wineries provided by Pacific Ranch Market. Outback Steakhouse has also agreed to provide selections from their delicious menu for our guests and volunteers as well.

This event has been a favorite of wine connoisseurs for three decades, beginning as a backyard garden party at the home of Boys & Girls Club supporters in 1976, and growing steadily each year since then. As the event has matured, so have the palates of the attendees, and some of the world's finest and most popular wines are featured each year.

All the proceeds from the Festival will go directly to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Garden Grove, whose commitment to providing quality enrichment and educational programs to the youth of central Orange County cannot be topped.

This year's Wine Festival Chairs, David Zlaket and Dr. Don Cook, are very excited about the Festival and the fundraising goals that the organization has set. "Each year, our Annual Wine Festival & Auction exceeds our goals and expectations and is recognized as the fundraiser that emphasizes FUN! We're thrilled to carry on that tradition. Please enjoy a relaxing afternoon with us tasting, dining, and helping the children of our community."
