The HOPE team made it!

Not only did the team earn its way to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America's (BGCA) National Conference to perform, they are kicking off the Centennial Conference with the style only Garden Grove can bring! The performance will take place in Boston on May 4th as part of the opening ceremonies, prior to former Secretary of State Colin Powell. More than 4,000 delegates from across the country are expected to attend and this opportunity should prove to be an exciting and educational experience. When the competition began, we were limited to a 9 member cast. However, due to the amazing reception by BGCA, we now have the fantastic chance for 16 students to make the trip.
Members jumped, screamed, and hugged each other when it was announced they made it. Channel 3 was there to capture the moment and will be running a few pieces on the Club members' experiences throughout this exciting venture. For six kids, this trip will be their first time on a plane and for many more they are not accustomed to traveling at all.
