Boys & Girls Clubs of Garden Grove Launches Healthy Clubs Campaign
Boys & Girls Clubs of Garden Grove is proud to announce the launch of the Healthy Clubs 100% Campaign! BGCGG has a goal this year that every child will have access to health insurance. We realize that our role is important in today's world because families truly depend on us to take an active part in their children's lives. Now, more than ever, the children of our community and their families are in need of additional support to help kids succeed in life. Boys & Girls Clubs of Garden Grove is a leading advocate for quality programs to meet this critical need. With 2007 being dubbed as the "year of reform", BGCGG is committed to being part of the solution for families having access to affordable health insurance now and in the future.
The mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of Garden Grove is to provide high quality programs and services for children and youth to help them reach their full potential. The Healthy Clubs Campaign is consistent with our mission; it not only encourages preventative care but also positively impacts children's physical, emotional, and social well-being.
The 100% campaign goal will be accomplished through collaboration with St. Joseph's Hospital and The Children's Health Initiative. Health Care Access Coordinators will be dedicated to assisting families in enrolling in appropriate health insurance programs. The Health Care Access Coordinators are bilingual and will be available at each of the 19 program sites throughout the year.
