In 2016, Boys & Girls Clubs of Garden Grove opened a new early childhood education site in partnership with the Garden Grove Unified School District. This program is located on the campus of GGUSD Special Education Carver Early Childhood Education Center. This smaller program site is designed to the meet the unique needs of children and is able to provide individualized care.
Our programs are built on a ‘whole-child model’ and our staff are trained to look beyond the educational needs of the child and include their physical, social, and emotional health. The ‘whole-child’ model includes the family as active participants in their children’s success. We are able to accomplish this by coordinating with Boys & Girls Clubs Community Health Services which provides comprehensive health and case management services to families.
