These initiatives help young people enhance self-expression and creativity, develop multicultural appreciation, provide exposure to and develop skills in crafts and visual, performing and literary arts:

Drama Production / Talent Show: A dual-purpose program designed to enrich the children both creatively through exposure to theatre and practically by using the stage as a vessel to teach life skills. The children are taught the art of self-expression through both performance and design, and they are also taught important everyday skills such as teamwork, time management, and public speaking.

Digital Art: A program where members will learn how to use and take pictures with a digital camera and then creates artwork from the pictures they have taken. Students will be able to create a memory book of their fun times at the Club.

Fine Arts: Open to all members. This program encourages artistic expression through drawing, painting, print making, collage, mixed media and sculpture displayed at local and regional exhibits. A panel of distinguished judges selects works for inclusion in the National Fine Arts Exhibit, which debuts at the annual B&GCA National Conference.

Hearts for Youth: A program to serve the community by using arts experiences as the tool to help children develop character, discipline, self-esteem, creativity and skills that enable them become more productive individuals.


Music Appreciation: A program for all ages! Music is introduced through time cycles and cultures, jazz, rock n' roll, salsa and more. Musical instruments are also a part of this rhythmic and fun filled program

Recyclable Art: "Someone's trash may be someone else's treasure!" Very true with this arts and crafts program. From milk containers to egg cartons, exciting and creative creatures and works of art are developed and designed by our very own members. Fun experiences are guaranteed with this "anything goes" interactive program

Scrap booking: Students have the opportunity to take their own pictures of our Clubs' events in which they will make their own scrapbook creations by learning how to cut, crop and fit pictures with themed decorative.

Yearbook Production: A brand new activity offered to our members. Members will be taking photos of special moments with friends, activities, sporting events, club parties, etc. This program is offered to members, ages 8-13 years.
