New reading ‘perch’ open at McGarvin

Garden Grove (BGCGG) at McGarvin Intermediate School in Westminster has

officially opened its “Central Perch Reading Café”, a welcoming and modern atmosphere

that promotes leisure reading among teens. The $10,000 grant from the

Walmart Foundation allows the café to be a high yield center with over 130 teens enrolled.
