For a couple of hours on Saturday, children from difficult situations in Orange County got to forget their troubles and enjoy the holidays.

In the Sister Elizabeth building at St. Joseph Hospital of Orange, children from the Boys & Girls Club of Garden Grove and local transitional living centers gathered to make crafts, meet celebrities, receive presents and have a real holiday. The children look forward to such events, said Abraham Palomares, Boys & Girls Clubs of Garden Grove program director.
