Boys & Girls Clubs of Garden Grove (BGCGG) at Woodbury Elementary placed first in the GO GREEN CAMPAIGN service project. Club members from Woodbury were designated a plot of land in a community garden from the Garden Grove Community Service Department. The project started mid-March and will conclude after 10 weeks.
The members are responsible for the tiling, planting and harvesting of the garden. Each week the members walk one mile to the community garden site and tend to the plants. To date they have planted several types of seeds, including various types of vegetables. Click here to read more.
