 While we have always been able to support our operations with grants and other sources of funding, it is now necessary that we look to our own community each year to help support the important work we do. Our grants and minimal fees can no longer cover our expenses which increase each year, and the need for our critical youth programs is greater than ever. Youth of the Year 2013
 Established in 1947, Youth of the Year is BGCA’s premier recognition program for Club members, promoting service to Club, community and family; academic success; strong moral character; life goals; and poise and public speaking ability. The program is most effective when used as a year-round tool for fostering young people’s character, personal growth and leadership qualities. Regal Summer Movie Express
 Garden Grove, CA, July 17, 2012– As part of Regal Entertainment Group’s Summer Movie Express, Regal is treating the Boys & Girls Clubs of Garden Grove youth to enjoy blockbuster hits and beat the heat this summer. Through a partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Regal Entertainment Group is providing the Club with a grant to help cover expenses like transportation, snacks and low-cost tickets for its members. Free Community Tax Days
Garden Grove (Febrauary 01, 2012) — “Millions of workers who did not earn high incomes claimed the EITC last year,” said IRS Commissioner Doug Shulman. “The IRS encourages all eligible taxpayers to claim this valuable credit.
