While we have always been able to support our operations with grants and other sources of funding, it is now necessary that we look to our own community each year to help support the important work we do. Our grants and minimal fees can no longer cover our expenses which increase each year, and the need for our critical youth programs is greater than ever. Established in 1947, Youth of the Year is BGCA’s premier recognition program for Club members, promoting service to Club, community and family; academic success; strong moral character; life goals; and poise and public speaking ability. Garden Grove, CA, July 17, 2012– As part of Regal Entertainment Group’s Summer Movie Express, Regal is treating the Boys & Girls Clubs of Garden Grove youth to enjoy blockbuster hits and beat the heat this summer.
