"Our local Club has a population of 5,000 children and families who can easily make use of and benefit from the services provided." Made possible through a joint partnership of the Children and Families Commission of Orange County, Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC), the Boys & Girls Clubs of Garden Grove and Healthy Smiles for Kids of Orange County, the Children's Health and Dental Center of Garden Grove opened its doors to the public on August 29 and is located at 10540 Chapman Avenue in Garden Grove. Hours of daily operation are flexible to accommodate working families. By offering family counseling, pediatric health, and dental services under one roof, the center serves as a model for the delivery of comprehensive health care to children in Orange County. Forty members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Garden Grove Teen Leadership Program "United Keystone" Club helped sort and made a special presentation at 4:00 pm with Janet Scott, Chief Volunteer Officer and Pat Halberstadt, Chief Professional Officer.
