ACADEMIC CAMPS
Help your child stay sharp and get ahead! Prices vary based on length of camp.Camps are offered during school breaks and summer.
Math & Science Camp
Students are introduced to Math & Science concepts using hands-on activities. Students will create interactive projects to test out a variety of real life scientific concepts like motion, kid’s chemistry, and earth science, while using math skills to calculate and analyze results.
Reading & Writing Camp
Students are led through a workshop introducing the fundamentals of reading comprehension and writing skills. They will practice traits of writing while learning to plan, pre-write, revise and edit their work.

The “Arts” CAMPS
Help your child enhance their skills while fueling their love of performance and art!
Camps are offered during school breaks and summer. Prices vary based on length of camp and hours offered.
Dance Camp
Develop your child’s technique and fitness while learning fun dance combinations in different styles of dance: ballet, lyrical, hip-hop, cheer and step. No previous training needed.
Art Camp
Kids will have fun learning different styles of visual arts including drawing, painting, collage, and photography while exploring with color, texture and many more materials to express themselves creatively. |
The Be Great Academy is a state-approved provider of Supplemental Educational Services (SES) for qualifying students in the Garden Grove and Orange Unified School Districts. These are FREE tutoring services paid for under the No Child Left Behind Act to help students improve language arts (reading and writing), math, science, and/or English language development skills. Students are eligible for these services if they qualify for the Free/Reduced Lunch Program and are enrolled at a Program Improvement (PI) school in Year 2 or above.

Program Description
Our SES tutoring program offers instruction that strives to complement, engage, and build fundamental skills in Language Arts and Mathematics. Our reading and math curriculum is concise, hands-on and tailored to grade and skill level. Each lesson is separated into simple components to allow for optimum instruction and student practice as well as strategic checkpoints to asses student progress.

Will all children who qualify receive free tutoring services?
No. Parents must apply to receive free tutoring services for their children. According to federal regulations, if demand exceeds available slots, priority will be given to the lowest-achieving students who qualify for the Free/Reduced Lunch Program. Other qualified students will be placed on a waiting list.

How to Register for Fee Based Programs?
If you are interested in enrolling your child in any of our fee based academic programs please select your preferred method of choice to register.
In person
In person registration is available at our local Club Branches by appointment only. Please, contact an academy programs representative to schedule an appointment.

What are my Payment Options?
Our fee based programs only take cash or check onsite. However, all major credit cards are accepted via our online registration.
SES Registration
How to Register?
If you are interested in enrolling your child with our SES tutoring program please submit a registration form to the school district or your child’s school.
How do I know if my child qualifies for the free tutoring program?
If your child qualifies for the Free/Reduced Lunch Program and is enrolled at a Program Improvement (PI) school in Year 2 or above, he/she may qualify for free SES tutoring.
